DR RICHARD M. ENGELMAN (Springfield, MA): That certainly is a sophisticated presentation of an extremely difficult topic. In essence then, has this effectively made a difference in how you are dealing with the Fontan procedure?
DR GANDHI: Thank you for your comments, Dr Engelman. At our institution, in children in whom an intraatrial baffle is constructed, we have modified the lateral tunnel suture line to avoid the crista terminalis, based on our experimental animal model.
