To the Editor:
We thank Drs Kan and Yang [1] for their interest in our report [2] and admire their result. We believe the problem they describe is entirely different from the longstanding heat injury in our patient in whom both main pulmonary veins were obliterated and the pulmonary artery was totally occluded by organized clot.
