Announcement

Editorial Board Changes

As of The Society of Thoracic Surgeons' annual meeting in San Francisco in January 2009, Drs William N. Anderson, T. Bruce Ferguson, William L. Holman, Joseph LoCicero III, and Joseph B. Shrager ended their service on the editorial board. Drs Ferguson, Holman, and LoCicero rotated off the board after 9-year terms as editorial board members. Dr Shrager served as an Associate Editor for Feature Articles for 8 years and Dr Anderson assisted us with statistical reviews over the course of his 5 years on the board. We appreciate the time and expertise of these outstanding editorial board members, which has factored greatly into maintaining the quality of our content. They will be missed.

Cheung, Philadelphia, PA, Steven R. DeMeester, Los Angeles, CA, Fred H. Edwards, Jacksonville, FL, and Arkalgud Sampath Kumar, New Delhi, India.

On behalf of the cardiothoracic community, we welcome our new members and extend our gratitude to the past and present editorial board members for their dedication and efforts in helping working surgeons serve their patients better by assisting The Annals of Thoracic Surgery in the dissemination of high-quality, peer-reviewed material that is timely and useful to their practices.
