Forty-Second Annual Meeting, The Society of Thoracic Surgeons. Ann Thorac Surg 2006;82:372-80
In the report of the 2006 Annual Meeting of The Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS), which appeared in the July 2006 issue of The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, the names of the following seven new international members of the STS were wrongly listed under the heading "Deceased Members" instead of under the list of "International Members":

Finally, members were divided geographically instead of by member type in the published report. For clarification, the types of membership in the STS are: Active, International, Candidate, Associate, Honorary, and Senior.
