We would like to thank to Dr Weissberg for his comments [1] regarding our case report [2].
However, the comments made by Weissberg [1] are entirely inappropriate. Like Weissberg [1], we also referred to a dictionary [3]. The definition of spontaneous in the Oxford English Dictionary is as follows: "(of a natural process or event) occurring without apparent external cause." Of course we were not saying there was no cause for this hemothorax, but using the word spontaneous implied that the cause was not immediately apparent.
