We read with interest the study by Liu and associates [1]. Optimal treatment of ocular myasthenia gravis (MG) is still a controversial issue with no agreement among surgeons and neurologists. There is no doubt that patients with thymoma should undergo surgery, whatever the MG stage is; however, many doubts still persist regarding the indication for surgery for those with pure ocular MG.
