A 56-year-old postmenopausal woman with a history of three right-sided spontaneous pneumothoraxes 14 years ago was treated by chest tube drainage, followed by thoracoscopic pleurectomy, and finally talc pleurodesis. No emphysema-like lesion of the lung was present.
