To the Editor:
I read the article by Roedler and colleagues [1] with great interest and congratulate the authors for their descriptive study that tackles one of the main problems cardiac surgeons face during aortic valve replacements: a small aortic root. However, one point needs to be addressed.
The authors describe the mechanism whereby a Top Hat valve causes functional obstruction of the left coronary
