This study [1] was prospectively designed to evaluate the possibility of lesser mediastinal dissection for early-stage nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The authors concluded that selective mediastinal dissection for early stage NSCLC achieved comparable efficacy compared with a complete dissection.
