Nakagawa and colleagues [1] reported their findings on the poor prognosis for patients with adenosquamous carcinoma (ASC) of the lung after surgical resection. The authors concluded that patients with stage IA or IB ASC had a prognosis similar to that of patients with stage IIIA adenocarcinoma or squamous cell carcinoma.
