Skeletal muscle hemangiomas are uncommonly described in a variety of
locations. This report details the diagnosis and management of a 39-
year-old woman with a right chest wall mass detected on physical
examination. After a negative diagnostic evaluation, exploratory
thoracotomy revealed an intercostal hemangioma, undescribed in recent
literature. The lesion was excised.
