Squamous carcinoma metastatic to the sternum

A 63-year-old man had a 10 x 16-cm sternal mass 18 months after a second
aortocoronary bypass operation. The resected lesion was a metastatic tumor
of squamous histology. No primary tumor was found. The diagnostic work-up
and treatment options are presented.
