Obstructing tracheal lipoma: management of a rare tumor

Benign neoplasms of the trachea are rare. We describe a 46-year-old patient
with a lipoma arising from the membranous trachea and causing severe
respiratory obstruction. Investigation and management of this problem are
discussed, and the literature is reviewed.
