AJ Bryan, CF Weston and GD Angelini
A case of late cardiac tamponade seen with progressive dysphagia 15 days
after aortic valve replacement is reported. The diagnosis was confirmed
echocardiographically and successful pericardiocentesis was followed by
immediate alleviation of the dysphagia.
