Thoracic computerized tomography (CT) of a right cardiophrenic-angle lesion demonstrated a solid tumor density. Subsequent resection and histological examination of the mass provided the diagnosis of angiofollicular lymphoid hyperplasia (Castleman's tumor).
This entity has not previously been reported in the cardiophrenic angle. The use of CT to differentiate cardiophrenic-angle lesions is discussed.
