Predictable correction of tricuspid insufficiency by semicircular annuloplasty
J Meyer and W Bircks
During surgical correction of multivalvular lesions, acquired tricuspid
insufficiency is best treated by a semicircular annuloplasty technique. In
order to achieve an individualized and accurate correction, the tricuspid
annuloplasty suture is tied around an obturator, the dimensions of which
are based upon Carpentier's tricuspid ring.
