A Comment on Aortic Perfusion Cannulas

Accepted for publication August 11, 1976.

An improved aortic perfusion cannula is described. The portion that passes through the aortic pursestring suture is tapered. The cannula can thus adapt to any enlargement of the cannulation site and minimize annoying leakage of blood during cardiopulmonary bypass.
